   Our dinner at Salute was a memorable one. Our cocktails were generous pours. We ordered the Dover sole and the Branzino, which were deboned tableside, and deliciously prepared. The food prices were very fair. While their wine list contained many nice wine selections, the prices seemed to be unfairly inflated. If you go to Salute, ask for Imi (spelling?). She made our evening very special. She is professional, efficient, knowledgeable on the menu, and very personable.

   We had an amazing dinner sitting outside listening to music. Our waitress Eni is spectacular! Highly recommend :-)

   we were there on a weeknight Weather was beautiful so it was quiet and mellow and very enjoyable. Great place to bring visitors from out of town to have dinner in the center of Sarasota in an outside setting.

   We had 4 diners on the patio. Ambiance was good. Meals were so-so. The scallops w risotto were not good. Only5 bay scallops on overcooked risotto. Sausage w potatoes was good, ample portion. Mushroom ragu on papardelle were good but not filling. Clams on linguine were the best entree, many clams on a bed of linguine were tasty. We had one drink each plus entree only, tab per couple was over $100 before tip. Not a good value given the quality of our meals.

   Louis is a very friendly and helpful server. He gave us great attention. The dover sole was excellent! Everyone enjoyed all the entrees!

    The service here was great. Very professional and friendly. Our waiter was really good with wonderful suggestions. Loved the Italian flare. The bread was delicious. Gave it a 4 for food as 2 of the 5 dishes weren’t as great. The short rib ravioli entree was great tasting but you only get 5 small ones. Not even enough for an appetizer. We all had to give him some of our food to fill him up. And he ate a ton of bread too. Too expensive for just five. Should be 10 or 15 raviolis. The other dish was scallops which were okay but pretty bland tasting. The other 3 dishes were wonderful which were scampi linguine, chicken scallopini, and veal scallopini. The wine choices were great too.
