   We had a terrific time and the food is wonderful and never disappoints!! Managers, Amber & Eni are so sweet and and always so accommodating. It’s just a great place to go for a relaxing and fun dinner!

   Food excellent! When I made reservations, I had requested to sit under the canopy. When we arrived, the canopy seating was being used by a basketball tournament banquet. I should have been told when reservation was made so we could not sit there. Also , when reservation made, it asked if it was a special occasion. It was a birthday which I indicated. Why ask , if not acknowledged. We had to tell server. Server was unaware it was a birthday. Our server was efficient but not overly friendly.

   We always enjoy dinner at Bavardi. The atmosphere is nice with great live music. The food is always delicious and service is great. Our server, Lucas, was very nice and friendly and accommodating. I was a little surprised at the high price of some of the fish dishes but overall it was a great time.

   Probably our favorite Italian place in Sarasota County. You cannot beat the ambiance, and dishes. SOOO good. I am celiac and they clearly mark which dishes I do not need to edit. I had the pollo limone-amazing tasty dish. (The only difference, they are now passing the cc fee to the diner.) I know things are tough but, the menu prices should be the higher amount, no one minds a bill coming that is cheaper(if you pay cash), but to only show cash* prices on the menu and at the end realize you are paying $2-$3 more for each item, it really should be shown in the beginning when making the choice on what to order. That to me was a minor inconvenience and just a show of the hard times of inflation.. the staff/ambiance/live music (Georgia&Mike) could not have been any better!!

     Even though I didn’t enjoy the meal, the ambience is just wonderful. I can’t speak to the inside, but the patio is lovely and large and not too close to the street with beautiful bistro lights and plants. The heaters were placed well and kept a little bit of warmth going  and that musicians played some awesome tracks and didn’t overwhelm our conversation in anyway. All of that being said, the food was a bit disappointing. I had the carpaccio which came with a mountain of arugula so big I could barely find the steak I also had the special which was an almond crusted haddock with risotto. While the portion was generous the fish which should be crispy on the outside was covered in a salty heavy gravy of some sort, which frankly ruined the whole meal, it’s such a beautiful place. I would go back again and I gave it four stars, but I would be much more careful about what I ordered next time.
