SHARED PASSION
For owners Mishal and Sundeep, food has always been a way to bring families, friends and communities together, a way to celebrate life and share stories.
Mishal vividly remembers fragrant aromas and laughter filling the air at garden parties as her father cooked in huge pots over a coal stove. It was here that her passion for food began, inspired by her father’s experimental and creative dishes.
For Sundeep, it’s the childhood trips back to India and memories of eating fresh dhal and fluffy rotis at roadside cafes in Punjab that he savours most. The atmosphere, the aromas and the flavours all evoke a delightful sense of coming home.
And it is his innate understanding of the link between food and celebration that helped Sundeep build a successful banqueting business in the heart of North West London.
It’s this passion, this emotional connection and joy for eating that the couple now bring to Bhageecha.
Friday and Saturday after 7pm, kids under the age of 10 aren't allowed

I have been to Bhageecha many times but last night it was incredibly busy with some big parties so service was slower than usual as we were just a table of 2. The food and drink were lovely as always and it’s great for us vegetarians. The staff were friendly My only gripe was the conservatory area is a bit of a let down compared to the tables inside the restaurant and it didn’t feel very special

We apologise for the slower service during your visit. With the post-Diwali and pre-Christmas period, larger group bookings are more common, and yesterday was particularly busy with more larger groups that usual. We appreciate your patience. Regarding the conservatory, we’re in the process of transitioning the decor from Diwali to Christmas and are working hard to ensure the space feels as special as the main restaurant. Food quality has gone down since i last went. The menu has been changed and the flavours have become basic despite pricing. Chaat was the only enjoyable dish. They’ve lost their originality. Service was slow despite only 60% capacity and service charge was sneakily added to the bill despite it being optional. Wouldn’t recommend or be going back.

Got a reservation at 8.30 pm which is a bit later then usual for us but thought it will be fine and we can have a quite meal. We were given a table in the middle of the room with door to the conservatory being opened and shut. Once seated, we were not given a menu to browse and waiters were going past us totally ignoring our table. It was like a supermarket with kids/adults with kids/waiters going round our table to the conservatory. Four waiters serving one table outside going past us but not checking if we were OK. Food was served luke warm and one of the dishes had to be sent back for reheating. By this time, we had had enough of the place and decided not to order main course and asked for our bill. The bill came instantly which was given to us on top if the dirty plates which non of the waiters had paid attention to clear the table. Would definitely NOT be going there again

Due to the busy Diwali weekend with many family celebrations, reservations filled up well in advance, and the table you were offered was the only one available. Normally, we have a no-kids policy after 7:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays, but we made an exception this weekend for Diwali, which we communicated in our promotions. We regret that your first visit didn’t meet expectations, and we hope you’ll consider visiting again so we can offer the experience we’re known for. We had a Diwali brunch at Bhageecha. Food was very good and enjoyed every dish. Staff service is excellent. The ambience of the restaurant is great and location is convenient. Overall, very happy with the restaurant.

Fantastic food and experience would highly recommend and I hope they keep doing the buffet lunch which they’ve had for few times here and there. It would be great if this was something more regular!
