Our party of 6 came for Dinner on Friday, Feb. 7, 2025. It was very quiet and service was great. I arrived early and had a look around. Particularly impressed with the Pieter Bruegel paintings. Food was pretty good and we would definitely go back.

We went for dinner at Bier Market on Saturday, January 25, 2025. Our server was run off of his feet but tried so hard to look after us to the best of his ability. The food coming out of the kitchen was very, very slow and we were going to a show. The food was good, not great, but we didn't blame the kitchen staff as we felt that they must have been absolutely slammed in there. The restaurant was clearly understaffed, in all areas, and we certainly didn't blame the working staff. We blame the restaurant/owners for this. Profit over all else! You are in an extremely busy part of the city, staff your restaurant accordingly!!! The staff that was there worked above and beyond to make sure their customers were taken care of and they reduced the total on our bill appropriately for the inconvenience to us. Kudo's to the lovely staff at the Bier Market, and a big BOO to the people running the place and making the bigger decisions!!

Overall a very nice restaurant. Service was ok, drinks were slow even at 6:00pm Food was hot and tasted good, I had the pork Snitzel but it was overcooked, Same for my wife who had Salmon and Salad. Salmon overcooked but her complaint Was the Salad was really very cold, straight from a really cold fridge no doubt. Would definitely go back as the atmosphere is nice and the staff very pleasant.

We go to the Biermarkt quite often … sadly tonight was disappointing. Our server was fantastic, however he was WAY over worked (they seemed short staffed) Several of the popular beers we ordered were out of stock and they couldn’t make some of the mixed drinks because of missing ingredients (egg whites).

Unfortunately our server was the reason for our bad experience. He forgot multiple dishes, when they did come out there were things wrong (example: a chicken Caesar salad without the chicken) and when the bills come they were also incorrect. We were there to get apps and a drink and ended up being there for 2.5 hours.

The bier market is losing me as a regular client ! If I reserved a high top table, put me in one, if I order a Stiegle pour it in a Stiegle glass. Most importantly make sure that a server knows which tables they are responsible for, I waited over 15 minutes before I asked for some service, thank you.

Menu wasn’t the same as online, service was rude but we didn’t really have to wait. Staff just seems very put out by everything. One bar stool had a broken leg and when we pointed it out to the waitress, she was super irritated. Just didn’t want anyone sitting down on it and falling lol. Oh well. Food was good though, servings were more than enough.
