Marriott has a bit of a captive audience with this airport hotel restaurant, but we were hopeful because of the reasonably good reviews. The food was good, but the service was inattentive at best. We normally enjoy a leisurely, unrushed dinner, but it took forever to get served. We were seated right away (had a reservation) and got water, but then the trouble began. The waiter forgot that my husband ordered a beer. Then it took a long time (maybe 45 minutes) to get our soup & salad after we ordered. Then we waited another 45 minutes or so to get our main dishes. Also, I ordered my main dish without pepper, and added a side vegetable. I'm 99% certain there was pepper in my main dish, and the side vegetable was definitely covered in black pepper. Since we had a very early flight the next morning and it had taken so long to get our meals, I didn't send either back. My husband said his duck was tasty but tough. It took a long time to get our waiter's attention to ask for our check. (He would walk nearby but never look at us. Same with other waitstaff.) We asked to pay separately (not on our room account) and the waiter said he'd go get the credit card scanner. He came back to his station, but then ignored us again. When we finally flagged him down, he admitted that he'd forgotten.
Note that we had very pleasant interactions with all of the waitstaff. They weren't ghosting us because we'd been jerks. They just weren't paying attention to their customers.
We're normally very generous tippers but tipped minimally just to send a message.
