Every Bill Granger’s restaurant reflects the spirit we like to think of as ‘Australian’: sunny, easy-going and generous.

Bill opened his first restaurant in Sydney’s Darlinghurst in 1993. It soon became loved for its legendary breakfasts, served at the famous central communal table, where locals and travellers, families and friends, continue to be welcomed. Thirty years later, Bill’s relaxed, friendly and infectious joy in good, fresh food has become truly global, and is enjoyed at his restaurants in Sydney, Seoul, Tokyo and London.

    We had a great dinner for 11, with great service, great food, and great atmosphere, and even we're able to meet our dietary needs for halal and dairy free.

    Menue was limited. Pasta was average and burger good. Restaurant surprisingly far from full for a Friday night. Meal took a long time to be served. Bills seems to have fallen off in quality.

    Stunning date spot! We thought the service was friendly and seamless. The place is fine dining meets super chilled local Bondi crowd - in a good way. We had the curry, tuna tartare and crispy potatoes, and was unfortunately too full for dessert. Immediately regretted my decision not to get dessert anyway. The dishes are all fairly big portions, so refreshing. My partner and I agreed the food tasted super fresh, dynamic and just tasty. Highly recommend - venue is also big enough that you don’t feel like you’re sitting on other people. Will be back soon! :-)

    Sadly our group of 6 was disappointed with our dinner and service. We ordered a round of drinks at the start but no staff member asked if we wanted another. It was not a busy in the slightest. The sesame toast and chicken schnitzel mains were great -the rest was just OK. We were so excited to dine there however we left feeling underwhelmed. Perhaps brunch is the way to go?

    Really devastated that the crab linguine is gone from the menu, and that the schnitzel no longer comes with creamed corn! As these have been our family favourites for years.

    We came to Billls not knowing much about the area (from America) and we’re very happy with the entire experience. Wonderful food (highly recommend going heavy on the appetizers and sharing meals- portions are large and tasty) Our server, Shannon was delightful patient and informative about the menu. Ambiance was 10/10 great lighting and music to set a vibe was not too loud so that we could enjoy conversation. We had an 8pm resy and stayed till nearly 11, and they did not make us feel rushed. highly recommend this place, especially if you’re looking for a quality place that’s open later (not a pub).
