Historic building with colourful interiors you wish that you had in your own house? Check and check - welcome to Bill's restaurant in York! Whether you've just completed one of the city's spooky walking tours or indulged in retail therapy along the medieval Shambles shopping street, Bill's is the perfect stop. We cater to all appetites with a menu that'll have you drooling on sight, with tasty options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There's space for all, with tables big and small, plus a semi-private dining area for up to 20 people.     Lovely breakfast, setting and staff, only issue was latte was just barely warm and mushrooms stone cold but wouldn’t stop me going back!!

    Another great visit, the restaurant was busy but the atmosphere was great. Pancakes were gorgeous and the service was perfect. The menu is so varied so something to please everyone!

    Our servers were very good and responsive. Food was very average. The decor was nice. The toilets were awful, filthy, rubbish everywhere and cold. Hope that this is not a reflection of the overall general cleanliness of the restaurant.( it does make you think!) In all honesty, I don't think would be in a hurry to book here again.
