We now offering a new Izakaya menu and serving plenty of Japanese Izakaya food. From Veggies, Seafood, Meat, Nabe (Hotpot), Rice and Noodles to Sushi and Sashimi. Our 10pcs Nigiri Omakase every week with different fresh fish from Japan, this is the biggest reason why you need to come to Bincho Izakaya. Also don’t forget we are one of the biggest Sake and Shochu list in Calgary. We are located at 2204 4 St SW in the heart of Mission. We shared a few dishes and everything was delicious. Our server was great and recommended the perfect amount of food. Excited to go back!

Fresh ingredients and my guests loved their choices regardless if it is cooked or raw. A staple for us to go.

Would absolutely recommend Bincho - though I would recommend asking the market price and would also urge the servers to let you know before officially confirming the order. While the sashimi was amazing and clearly came from fresh sources directly, the $90 for a six assorted sashimi (potentially 18 or so total pieces) was a sticker shock. Everything else was fairly good value and came quickly!

I adore this place. The staff are so warm and welcoming and their sake collection is beautiful. They really know their stuff. They have a new menu and the food is impeccable. Most recent visit, we had the togarashi tofu, shrimp tempura, the sashimi and tuna tataki. Everything was perfect. The fish was uber fresh-one particular fish was fed on mandarins and you could actually taste the mandarins-amazing.

Bincho Izakaya has delicious japanese food. We had several skewers, vegetables and meats, miso soup with prawn. Everything was served quickly and hot. Great service. The server helped us to select the best sushi and skewers according to our taste.

I was very impressed with everything! I am vegan and their vegetable sushi roll was soooo good! Their grilled vegetables were SO GOOD too! We couldn’t stop ordering.
