   Not been here for many years. Belated birthday Sunday lunch with a friend. Only us in the Bistro at 13.00, it got busier from 14.0. Excellent choice of help yourself starters called Market Table great idea. Then it's either Roast Beef or Chicken for main with lots of vegetables. Good wine list but expensive. I have booked again.

   We booked last minute and were surprised that we were able to get a table. However, it was early and our table was booked for 615. On arrival at the restaurant we were only the second couple in the restaurant, although it did fill up as the evening progressed. We were only there for less than an hour as we were going to the theatre. We only had a main course but the food was wonderful. So good that we have booked again for next weekend, where we will try the tasting menu .

   Fabulous night, food was wonderful, restaurant ambience relaxed and upmarket. Atmosphere good but also quiet enough to talk Service very professional and attentive

   The service was awful. Waiting over 45 minutes for cocktails which came after 1st corse. The service was so incredibly slow. Wine accompaniment was lacklustre at best. Would not recommend and will definitely not be returning. Although quality of food was good, service really failed.

   cosy atmosphere. the dishes lacked flavour, which is a shame. the service was ok. the experience was therefore satisfactory but could be better with more tasty dishes.

   Really nice meal, excellent Bordeaux by the glass, scallops and steak cooked to perfection. Only reason I give 4 stars is that the muscles were a bit gritty. Will definitely be back!

    Good value, lovely setting, wine with tasting menu and explanation excellent but the food required a bit more attention.
