                                                              It was Valentines Day! So they packed it. They forgot some dishes and it was pricey. It was nice but not worth the money.

                                                              Extremely corny Valentines Day decorations (with Christmas wreaths?), bright lights, loud middle school dance soundtrack, and limited wine/food menu. The limited food menu I get, but it was VERY limited, and a limited wine menu is odd. Service was decent but courses moved slowly. Great price but would much rather pay more for more on Valentines Day- just take fewer reservations and make more on each table with more/better choices!

                                                              Bistro Ember is a very inviting place located in Noe Valley, but out of the hectic area. The restaurant is very cozy and the hosts are welcoming. We had a wonderful dinner. We especially enjoyed the kebab and fish entrees.

                                                              Wonderful! 4 of us dined on 6 mazze and 2 mains, plus wine. Everything was delicious. We'll be back.

                                                              It was a subpar experience. I mentioned on the reservation that it was a special occasion (dinner to celebrate my husband’s birthday) and there was no acknowledgment of it. I asked for a table away from the door and kitchen. They sat us near the bathroom when there were many other table options available The server did not share the price fix menu for dinner which we saw it on display on our wait out. It felt like the restaurant did not bother to read the reservation before we arrived. Not coming back.

                                                              I've been twice, and the service was not great each time! We had to request more wine twice and requested a check, only to have it show up 15 minutes later, and then we had to wait again for them to process it!

                                                              Bistro Ember was the perfect spot for my birthday dinner date. The decor lends an intimate, warm atmosphere and the service was excellent; friendly but professional. We loved our food which was beautifully presented and delicious. We ordered beet salad, salmon, manti (Turkish dumplings) and fettuccine with prawns, which were all splendid. Their signature dessert, a chocolate coffee cake, is not to be missed. We can't wait to return and try other delights!
