Bistro Freddie is a 45-cover restaurant in the heart of Shoreditch showcasing the best in British produce and French wine.
The menu is inspired by classic British and French gastronomy. Expect seasonal starters, bold mains and pies to share, as well as larger cuts of meat cooked over fire.
Curated by Alex Price, Bistro Freddie’s all-French wine list focusses on real wines that reflect a sense of place. The wine list takes a deep dive into all corners of France, exploring a variety of styles, regions and producers.

We offer French wine, cocktails, canapé menus and feasting menus for any occasion. Located a few minutes’ walk from Shoreditch High and a stone's throw from Liverpool Street Station, within our classic dining room we can host up to 80 people standing or 50 people seated.
Bistro Freddie offers a classic French menu with a British twist, using seasonal and low-intervention ingredients. Experience classic, unpretentious bistro-style dishes and natural wines in a cosy and elegant setting.

Nestled in Shoreditch, you're invited to an intimate NYE celebration at Bistro Freddie, with a 3 course feast from our Head Chef Alexandre Reynolds.
Choose from starters like monkfish carpaccio, heritage leeks with aged Comte and truffle, or foie gras with spiced pear and ginger. Mains feature prime aged beef with classic sauces, dayboat whole fish, or our artichoke pithivier – all with triple-cooked chips and buttered cabbage - and finishing with our famous sticky toffee pudding with Armagnac custard.
The team will be opening special bottles from our cellar, pouring vintage champagne and stirring you up the wettest martinis this side of the Thames. Luxury food supplements available, of course.
