Mediocre experience. We were rushed through our meal from the minute we walked in to make place for the next seating. Pushy and unpleasant.

The restaurant was good and cozy. Service was excellent and the food was very good. We ordered hanger steak and salmon steak. Salmon steak was excellent but part of hanger steak was a bit overdone. Overall I would recommend it to my friends who are visiting Montreal

J'ai adoré mon expérience au bistro La Franquette, l'ambiance y est décontractée. On se sent comme chez des amis. Je recommande vivement ! La nourriture était délicieuse, j'ai pris les gnocchis au gorgonzola: les gnocchis étaient fondants et la sauce, crémeuse très goûteuse. J'ai pu tester aussi les moules et le steak de saumon que mes amies avaient choisis. Tout était très bon jusqu'au dessert !! Notre serveur était sympathique et très professionnel. Il nous a bien expliqué les différents plats et conseillé sur le choix des boissons. J'y retournerai sans aucun doute !

Everything about this restaurant is excellent. It does what it wants to do: serve a quality, comforting meal with excellent service and a very knowledgeable wine steward (she knows everything, in the best way). It’s my happy place, with special thanks to Jen and Erin.

I had a wonderful experience at Franquette. The service was very detailed and caring. The food was incredibly good. Overall a welcoming unpretentious fine dining experience.
