The Bistro Romano New Year's Eve Wine cellar Experience is available at 6pm or 9pm for parties of two to four guests and includes the NYE 5 Course Tasting Meny, curated exclusively by Executive Chef Matt Buehler, in our private cellar with candlelight, rose petal topped table, party favors, champagne toast and limoncello after dinner drinks. $179 per guest + tax is prepaid when reserved. 20% gratuity is added to your guest check when you dine. Additional charges include beverages that you select. Wine Cellar Experience is reserved for three hours. Any questions kindly call 215.925.8880 before reserving. The Experience is non-refundable.

I haven’t been here in a few years and decided to return as I’ve always loved the ambiance. I remember the food as being good but not excellent. This time it was excellent as was the seevice and everything about our meal. It seems they have really stepped things up a notch since I was last there. I’ll definitely be back again soon!

I have dined at Bistro Romano several times over the past 10 years. It had always been my favorite Italian spot in Philadelphia. But I had not been back since Covid. I'm very pleased to say that Bistro Romano is the same fantastic restaurant and experience as I remembered it. The Caesar salad is still my favorite caesar of all time. We also had the brussel sprouts, black pepper macaroni, and veal saltimbocca. If I went back tomorrow. I would order it all again. I spent the evening with a best friend who I also hadn't seen since Covid. So rather than book a more romantic table in the basement, we opted for a more social experience at the bar. Great conversation and service with the bartender Sean. Beautiful ambiance. And a wonderful pianist who plays on Friday and Saturday nights. I don't know if I'll ever go back to the basement or order anything else different off the menu. It was that great all around!

My thanks to the chef for the roasted olives with orange and rosemary to start my meal, very delicious a great appetizer. The grilled shrimp I added to the Garganelli arrabbiata were also cooked perfectly and paired well with the red wine I had. Another excellent meal, thank you very much.

The food is always a hit here! Even staples like the Caesar salad have an extra something special to them. The staff is super courteous and conscientious. Would recommend the black pepper macaroni

Bistro Romano is one of my favorite restaurants! They never let me down, from the staff to the food and the atmosphere this place is amazing! My favorite is the truffle gnocchi and I always get it every time I come! Always a great experience!

Bistro Romano has become my regular Thursday night spot. The bartender Sean is thee BEST! There's a regular that comes in every Thursday as well, and he's such a delight to converse with. The pasta dishes are simply superb, and the house wine, whether it's white or red, is always great!
