   Our service was horrible. I had made a reservation for 12 a week in advance and we still had to wait 20-30 minutes. And there were about 5-6 mistakes within 10 minutes of sitting at the table… the waitress left the table without taking everyone’s order, they forgot about our drinks, the wrong food came out, they brought out a salad with literally just lettuce and said we ordered that (?????), I water 10 minutes for water. Never eating at this location again.

   In general, the experience was good, we had to wait even with the reservation made, the waiter was very friendly, the food arrived in a good time, and although some foods we felt had a lot of sauce or loaded in salt, in general it was good.

   I live in Downey and have been to this BJ’s quite a few times. I have never had any issues with the food or services. However, these day the food taste terrible and was dry. Also, the waitress we had was not helpful at all she only came twice to check on us and both times we were already looking for her because we needed something. I was disappointed in both the food and services.

   I just love it here! Ivy is the best hostess ever! The food is also affordable and delicious. The lemon pepper wings, the avocado egg rolls. Chip & Dip trio, the cinnamon roll pizookie are some of my favorites. I also love the Tito’s Lavender Lemonade. And last but not least Jimmy my server/bartender is just amazing!

    They were short staffed during lunch time on the weekday. Please give yourself at least 2 hours to order, eat & pay. It took the waiter at least 20 minutes to acknowledge my group of 3 after I flagged him down. Waiter was courteous and got our oder quickly.
