Overlooking the historic Borough Market, Black and Blue has been a Borough mainstay since 2001.
A modern British American steakhouse where you can savour delicious steaks or burgers whilst
watching the bustle of the market or sip one of our signature cocktails in the bar whilst trains rattle
overhead.

Perfect for your business lunch or dinner, a more relaxed drink or meal with friends, or a fun
weekend or night out. We will entertain you in either our spacious restaurant, busy bar, or private
patio.

Your private events can be hosted in our exclusive mezzanine above the bar, please contact us for

The Prix Fixe menu is great value and the food was good; we enjoyed it. Busy restaurant in the heart of Borough Market - great location

We used to visit B&B regularly but have tried other places recently. Returned last night and was rather disappointed. We were seated by the window and it was freezing. We kept our coats on the whole evening. I ordered a fillet steak which was very small. I wasn’t asked how I’d like it cooked and I asked for a different sauce which didn’t arrive. Overall it was quite expensive for a very cold evening.

The Hostess (born in Hungary but has lived for 20+ years in Britain) set the tone for a wonderful evening. She knew we would like to have a round table (that was reserved), but noted that we were next to loud people. She went out of her way to show us two other table options. Loved her attention to customer experience. The food was great - especially the Baked Field Mushrooms and Grilled Goat’s Cheese salad. Artichoke dip got mixed feedback from my guests. Ribeye was also slightly fatty but well-seasoned so my guest was happy. For a table of four two courses with wine and coffees came to around 60 per head. Great service and location makes this a go-to choice for informal dining near London Bridge

Overall a very good evening. Were told we had 2 hours only which wasn’t an issue. Service was a bit slow but worked in the end. The fixed price menu is the best deal in town. Great choices and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I only wish they had a few nicer bottles of wine or perhaps a reserve wine list.
