Executive Chef Jorge Morales has worked in NYC Philly and Ann Arbor. He brings his vast knowledge and experiences to our restaurant and has crafted a menu that offers bold and unique flavors with traditional Korean roots. Black Ginger's menu offers exciting creations for both newcomers and veterans of Korean cuisine.
Owner Harold Kim is a Korean American who grew up in the metro Detroit area. He is knowledgeable in many Asian flavors like Japanese, Korean, Thai, and Vietnamese cuisine. As a Japanese restaurant owner, he has worked with many different types of seafood and has also traveled extensively around South Korea to understand both traditional and modern flavors.
