Located across from Printers Alley, just two blocks from Broadway, Black Rabbit is a Restaurant & Bar with full service dinner (4PM Mon-Sat), Saturday Brunch (10AM - 2PM), the Best Happy Hour in Nashville 2022 (4-6 PM Mon-Sat; $6 Old Fashioneds, Margs, and Mules) and Live Music (9PM Fri-Sat) . The creative cocktails and large bourbon collection flow generously from the bar while steaks, chops, seafood, & local vegetables emanate from the wood-fire, open kitchen. Originally home to a furniture showroom 134 years ago and subsequently, the law office of Tommy Osborn, attorney to Jimmy Hoffa, Black Rabbit is writing their own chapter by reimagining what a local Nashville tavern and speakeasy would've been like during Prohibition... wood-fire cooking, strong cocktails, and a sophisticated atmosphere with genuine, relaxed hospitality. Locally owned and operated, we aim to show you our idea of home team hospitality when you visit Downtown Nashville.

                                    First time dinning at the Black Rabbit, let me say, I will be coming back. Location is appealing if you want to get off the Broadway scene. It has a local feel to it. Parking is close. Staff was friend and attentive, drinks and food are both reasonably priced for downtown. As everyone has mentioned the sourdough was great as were the pork tacos and brussels sprouts.

                                    Unfortunately, not many good things to say here except our sever was very kind and quick. Even though we had a reservation, we were immediately sat right in front of the front door (it’s 26 degrees outside) asked to be relocated & we’re told we can just sit at the bar, okay sure. The menu is pretty lacking , so we decide just to grab cocktails at this point. The drinks were fine, pricey though, and both of my martinis had so much ice in them I was literally chewing them. Serves us right for trying to go downtown on a Friday night I suppose.

                                    Food was very good. We were having an early dinner and started as the first table filled in the restaurant. Service started a little slow but did improve.

                                    Great time highly recommend. We went for brunch. The drinks where outstanding especially the heirloom tomato martini yes that’s right a tomato martini and no it’s not a version of a Bloody Mary you have to try. We also had the avocado toast fresh fresh and the street tacos. Awesome.
