Black Rock Bar & Grill, an award winning steakhouse specializing in certified angus beef steaks served on a sizzling stone.

Due to our high volume and traffic, we cannot hold tables for parties like a reservation system. We use a system called "Priority Seating". This system secures a table within our restaurant, however, it does not guarantee an exact seat by time. Priority is placed on your party, and if we are on a wait, your party is placed on top of the wait list as a priority. We will seat you as fast as possible, but cannot guarantee an exact time. If the restaurant is not busy, we will seat the party upon arrival.

It was a good meal. The sweet potato fries was over cooked. We were given a $10 discount on our next meal. This was an appreciated compensation. Quality of food was acceptable.

They appeared to be understaffed, as our waitress was also bartending, which led to a lot of time needing waitstaff, but having none.

By far one of the worst experiences I've ever had at this restaurant, we have been coming here for years, and this was just awful. Our waitress forgot to put in the soup we ordered and then brought all our meals separately. We were unaware that you now have to ask for butter w your steak and she didn't inform us of that so we waited another 10 minutes for that, I asked for a separate plate and she forgot that and waited another 10 min for that. By the time I was halfway through my steak, my rock was cold. We were celebrating my husband's 41st b day and asked what the birthday deserts were she said none so we ordered a $13 cheesecake then after she brought the bill said that there were some free deserts for the occasion. Finally, the bill, there was 3 of us at the table and both bills were wrong we waited another 15 min for her to "figure out what was wrong" after we told her and have them corrected. For the $100 price of dinner for my husband and I will be taking out business somewhere else in the future. No wonder the restaurant was almost empty.

Yesterday I was very disappointed….we been there for a Birthday. The salad wasn’t fresh some leaves with brown stains.The food took very long and the restaurant was empty.Not even a birthday wish. Sorry but this time at a Birthday dinner it wasn’t good.

It was our first time back in over 3 years and we loved the dinner for two option. The brussel sprouts were amazing. The sauce was perfect. Our waitress was on top of things. She refilled our drinks and was attentive.

Our waiter brought everything out all at once. Salad, appetizer, and entrees. We asked that the entrees be taken back. He took it back but I’m pretty sure he just parked the cart around the corner. Potatoes and sauces were cold and my husband’s rock didn’t stay warm long enough to cook all of his steak. We have given this place several chances and we won’t be back.

We actually went for the free lobster. After ordering, our waitress came back and said they were out of lobster, but then made it sound like we could get lobster as an add on, just had to pay. Then she said we could get other add ons, like shrimp, but we’d still have to pay. It was very confusing. Plus, 3 of our 4 steaks were tough, they were not good cuts like we normally experience.
