We’ve long loved Canary Wharf and it's rich history of the nearby Docklands and Billingsgate Market, yet Blacklock in a glass tower never quite fit. One look at an old disused warehouse nestled cosily in the corner of Canary Wharf underneath the train tracks of the North Dock and we knew we had found home. Feel the comforting rumble of trains passing overhead conjuring memories of some of our favourite haunts underneath the bridges in NYC - a place where, with the blinds rolled down and away from prying eyes, a decadent lunch can swiftly roll into dinner.

    Staff were welcoming and helpful. Ambience was nice and informative waiting staff made the menu easy to dissect. The All In option for the roast was well worth it for the delicious mound of food that came out to us. More than we could eat! Will certainly come again but is on the expensive side.

    The best roast in London. We always get the all in for 2. Such tasty meats and veg with the biggest Yorkshire puddings. The white chocolate cheesecake is a must. Highly recommend and very affordable

    Great roast dinner, went for the "All in" for the two of us. Great flavoursome meats, potatoes and massive, crunchy yorkies, maybe could of had a little bit more veg in terms of cabbage and parsnips. White chocolate and winter berries cheesecake is a must! Its so good!

    What an amazing evening at Blacklock restaurant, the food was amazing and the service was great! Special mention to Lewis who had amazing customer service and was super helpful and friendly :)

    Very friendly welcome and shown to table straight away. Place was very busy for a Thursday night but felt instantly welcome, and a good vibe to the place. Waiter/server was really helpful and explained the menu to us in great detail, with recommendations on portion size. Good range of drinks and prompt delivery. We didn’t like the sound of part of the starter, but they were happy to change bits for us. We had the All In, which was a selection of skinny chops, pork, lamb and beef served on bread, so it soaks up the juices! All cooked to perfection and bloody delicious! We had the best beef dripping chips I’ve ever tasted and a coal baked sweet potatoes that was jaw droppingly tasty! The garlic bone marrow was excellent, and the Blacklock gravy was full of flavour! I bucked the trend on dessert and plumped for pigs head on toast which was on the starters list. Enjoyed every mouthful and the server had put a candle in it as it was my Birthday! Good music playing in the background which wasn’t too loud. This place is an absolute gem and also welcomes well behaved dogs! Will definitely be making another visit to try other menu items!

    Service was amazing, food was delicious - highly recommend the short ribs to start and the all in for mains, can’t wait to go back!

    our waiter was extremely friendly and helpful, he was equipped with helpful information about the different cuts of meat as well as some of the history behind it. He also gave us some free wine tasting and explained in detail with how they compliment the steaks.

    A great place to eat with lots of atmosphere. Exceptional food and very accommodating of dietary requirements. House IPA and the sharing platter recommended! Definitely will be back.
