Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's.

We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times.

We had a brilliant experience at Blacklock city today, from the welcome to the food it was all fantastic. Really looked after us and the food was outstanding. The beef rib starter and cheesecake desert were our favourites. Highly recommend

As always fabulous experience at Blacklock. Food incredible and all the staff are incredible, always friendly and go above and beyond. Will be returning again.

The staff were amazing so too the food. Had to go after seeing Garry Eats on YouTube. It more than lived up to expectations.

Food was good. Drinks was ok. Service ok felt. Was very pressured to order fast eat fast pay fast and leave fast. Guess that’s their business model.

As a party of 4 we had Sunday lunch at Blacklock, we booked quite far in advance to secure the booking and it was worth it. We all had a roast dinner, we decided against the 'All In' as we didn't think we could do it justice, it looks to be a very generous portion. All the roasts came out quickly, piping hot and delicious. We shared the white chocolate cheesecake and it was amazing. The staff are all really polite and helpful. I can't fault our visit. Highly recommended.

Steak was perfectly cooked, beef fat chips were deliciously crisp. Service was very attentive, we had to wait a bit for the food but it was Saturday and they were full. Overall great dining experience.
