The restaurant was a little hard to find but all perfect once we did. Warm welcome and friendly staff. Our starters and mains were delicious and Leela who looked after us was fantastic. Thanks so much for taking note of my booking message as well and the nice Birthday surprise for my partner. Would definitely visit again, can't wait to try more of the menu!

Excellent service from a super friendly team. We had the sharing platter which was great value and super tasty. Very buzzy place if a little noisy but fun.

I've eaten here before and its been faultless. I chose to bring a client today and it was a bit of a shambles. Wasn't crowded but waiting staff clearly couldn't cope. Initial waiter was lovely but loads of other faces came to the table. The wine I ordered for my dinner never appeared, my sauce was given to my client and told it was for his dish. When I chased my sauce down on the third chase was told my client had mine. Struggled to get anyone's attention for the bill. Won't be rushing back sadly.

First time dining at the Covent Garden Blacklock and have to say it wasn’t the best. Menu’s weren’t explained to diners or the cuts available which was odd. The crayfish cocktail was really bad and chewy, to which the sever said “crayfish is like that”, err no it really isn’t and never has been at any other Blacklock. To be fair they offered to replace it but they brought the replacement 15mins later at which point I’d already got my main course. The waiter said “why not just tip it onto your main plate”.. wow. Zero follow up or offer of desserts or any other drinks which was odd again. All the staff were very nice and it’s a great location, but it falls way below normal Blacklock high standards. Maybe it was just a bad night, we all have them.
