Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old brothel, we take the best meat in the country from the award winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Sunday Roast almost as good as Mum's.

Monday - Friday 12:00 - 15:00pm
Monday - Friday 17:00 - 22:30pm
Bookings up to 8 guests (Mon-Thurs)
Bookings up to 6 guests (Friday)

Saturday: 12:00 - 23:00
Bookings for lunch and pre-theatre from 12noon to 23:00
Bookings up to 6 guests

Sunday 12:00 - 20:00
Bookings all day for up to 6 guests

Amazing every single time we go. Still the BEST roast in London and worth every penny Oh and you MUST get the white chocolate cheesecake!!!

Restaurant was too loud. We had a table with two drunk women next to us, who were shouting at each other. There are bare walls and no noise dampening materials. Staff do not ensure a reasonably quiet environment.

Great Sunday lunch. Everything seemed to be freshly cooked and good quality - mains and desserts. The sharing platter is huge and a little difficult to serve up as the plates are quite small. The beef was very good although we all felt that the lamb was quite fatty as was the pork although it was also very tasty. The pork ribs were a bit of a disappointment bread and butter pudding for dessert was very good. Service was friendly and attentive throughout and there was a good atmosphere in the restaurant.

The beef is pretty tough and chewy, pork loin is better. The potatoes were hard and not fluffy. The gravy is salty, but flavoursome. I personally am not the biggest roast fan, but it was ok. Value for money is good for central London. Service is excellent.
