Featuring plant based ingredients, elevated cooking techniques, a creative beverage list and a colorful ambiance with indoor and outdoor seating. Blossom & Root is the Tri-Valley dining destination for anyone curious about - or naturally inclined towards contemporary vegan fare with an "Eat Local" emphasis. Private dining is available. The pretty space is full of blue patterns and hues, with lots of plants (decorative and possibly edible). Featuring just as creative of a bar program as menu. Joe Steiner has elevated the bar program to match our eclectic menu by Chef Chris Johnson. Together the team puts out beautiful food and beverages not to be missed.

this is probably one of the best vegan restaurant in the bay area. I have been going there for almost a year and the food quality stays high. If you love mushrooms this is the place where you should go. I must say, you really don't need to be vegan to enjoy eating there. Our waiter is as always very attentive and considerate. To summarize: It's delicious, the service is impeccable, the setting is joyful, and the prices are very reasonable.

Our service person was slow in arriving, but very cheery. Brunch menu choices were limited, many mushroom based. Tomato soup was delish, lettuce cup item would be sufficient for sharing even 3-4 peeps. Food quality was excellent. We will go back.

Food was okay. Crab cakes were very chewy mushroom based. Burger was good. Potato salad had too much dressing. S’mores desert was disappointing. Marshmallows should have been melted on top and the bottom layer should have been Graham crackers as well as the middle layer. I’ll be back to try their brunch. Looks like it could be good.

Our experience was excellent and plan to come here every week on date night. We had the Veggie Tempura, Ceasar salad and both pastas and they were all delicious! Thank you for putting the Ceasar dressing on the top of the salad instead of the bottom. The drinks are so unique everyone should try them. I had the Lavendar Champagne cocktail and Apple shrub and they were organic and yummy:-)

The food and service were amazing! The food was flavorful and delicious! The desserts were so scrumptious. Everyone was super friendly and the ambiance was so cute & relaxing.

Had both the Cauliflower and Tomato soups today (excellent!). Also had the regular green salad and the dressing was delicious. My friend had the tofu bowl and she enjoyed it. Love the warm casual vibe and also the delightful gentleman who seats (and sometimes serves). Will be back!

Unexpectedly impressed by vegan food. Delicious but maybe a bit pricey. Best for lunch or breakfast as its ambiance is less formal.

The cocktails were amazing highly recommend the grapefruit gin and tonic. They make their own Gin in house and it’s amazing. The drink is not too sweet and the food was delicious! Lots of flavor and seasoned well.
