Offering a spectacular view over the sparkling sea, the Blue Marlin opens for all meals and specializes in fresh fish and seafood. The restaurant's signature giant marlin hung from the ceiling in the grand dining room sets the tone and theme. Blue shades, wood and copper finishes and walls dotted with portholes evoke the top deck of a liner cruising the Indian Ocean. The restaurant's sense of timeless elegance really comes to life at night. Guests bask in outstanding service while eating to the peaceful sound of the waves lapping onto the shore. The elegant piano bar is another highlight of the Blue Marlin at night. Guests will be fascinated by the musician's eclectic repertoire and talent. WEAR PANTS. We are staying at a neighboring property and had been recommended this restaurant. One of bags was delayed arriving in Mauritius that had our long pants, but we went to dinner anyway in collared shirts, khaki shorts, and leather loafers. We were turned away even with an explanation and even though their written dress code lists “tailored shorts” as acceptable. Deeply disappointed.

le cadre est agreable ; une belle table ; le repas correct mais cuisson pas maitrisee au niveau du poisson . cette soiree etait tres chaude et humide ; pas la moindre brise ; le blue marlin est en terrasse donc sans clim ; des ventilateurs a larges pales auraient etes tres apprecies ; nous avons ecourte le repas et oublie le dessert a cause de cette moiteur suffocante . dommage .
