Blue Ribbon Brasserie is built on the vision that originated over 30 years ago in New York City's SoHo at the legendary original Blue Ribbon, well known as the restaurant "where chefs go to eat." Blue Ribbon is also famously ready to serve here in Boston!

The space is highlighted by a 70-foot white Carrera marble bar, an oyster bar, and a 16-seat private dining room. The soaring interior has been designed as a collection of intimate dining spaces featuring cozy leather banquettes, shaded table lamps and bistro tables, and a light-filled solarium with floor-to-ceiling windows that look out into the neighborhood and beckon inside the Boston community and visitors alike.

This a beautiful restaurant with delicious food and exceptional service. The appetizers were fabulous, all of us loved our meals, and the bread pudding was the best I’ve ever had. I had messaged ahead that my family needed a quiet, private table to discuss a cancer diagnosis. The compassion of the manager who greeted us when we arrived was so sincere, and all the staff members went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and given privacy. We will definitely return, hopefully next time when I’m cancer free! Thank you again for helping us through a difficult night.

The restaurant definitely had the chain/ corporate vibe. Watered down cocktails. High prices compared to quality. Food was just so so. Ma Maison in Beacon Hill in comparison has much better food at lower prices and their service impeccable.

Lackluster at best. Service was mid. Shrimp Remelaude was good but french onion soup was like gravy not soup…

Flounder was good quality and well cooked but sauce was too salty. Swordfish was hard and rubbery. It must have been overcooked. Young server was attentive and responsive.

The setting is lovely here. And you can actually have a conversation I would recommend adding more salad choices to the menu and having some specials. I eat there all the time and I am becoming bored with the menu . Last night. I had paella and it was mediocre.

Visited on Thanksgiving. The weather was dreadful and we were an hour early, but were seated and allowed to enjoy some drinks for as long as we wanted before ordering. The food was delicious. I had the paella (massive portion!) and the other members of my family from the UK had the turkey dinner from the Thanksgiving specials menu, a burger, steaks and fish and chips. Everyone loved their food; it was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. We followed up with a cheesecake and a chocolate dessert. The service was efficient; attentive but not intrusive. I'd highly recommend and will definitely be back!
