' ..... Welcome to Bluebird, a wood-fired steakhouse featuring the best of Alberta beef including your favorite classic cuts and all-day-roasted Prime rib. Bluebird is where brunch and cocktails collide into fireside lunch which glides into happy hour and then swooshes into dinner where the après begins. With the fire stoked high, we are ready for you to ski through the front door and tell us all about it. It’s always a bluebird day in our mid-century chalet.

    Lovey staff and service, beautiful atmosphere. The food was good, but not great, especially for the price. Flavours were not as balanced and cohesive as one would have hoped. Chicken was slightly dry, caesar was underdressed and the burrata dish was far too acidic with strange flavour combinations. Steak was good. The meal lacked overall, and I’m curious if it will get better in a meaningful way as they obviously will be busy regardless, as it’s such a tourist town. Again, the atmosphere and staff were the highlight.

    Their happy hour fondue is an incredible value and so delicious. Left there very full and very happy. Can’t wait to go back.

    Went to Bluebird for happy hour after going to the Christmas Market. Everything was awesome. The list of happy hour cocktails had a good variety to choose from and the cheese fondue was perfect for 5 to have a nibble.

    Had a wonderful breakfast as we arrived into Banff for the Christmas Market weekend. The mountain breakfast was tasty although a bit pricey.
