Bluebird is where brunch and cocktails collide into fireside lunch which glides into happy hour and then swooshes into dinner where the après begins. With the fire stoked high, we are ready for you to ski through the front door and tell us all about it. It’s always a bluebird day in our mid-century chalet.

Had a wonderful breakfast as we arrived into Banff for the Christmas Market weekend. The mountain breakfast was tasty although a bit pricey.

The Bluebird is wonderful in every way. We loved the ambiance perhaps most of all, but everything was five stars. I wish we’d found it earlier in our stay in Banff, as we would’ve eaten here or enjoyed the cozy bar more than once. Highly recommend!

The meat was great. My date and I both had steaks. Both were cooked to perfection. Unfortunately everything else fell short of expectations for the price point. While I understand that comparison is the thief of joy, unfortunately the sides that the restaurant charges for separately were of a lesser quality than the vegetables usually provided for in the price of the steak by their competitors. 6 dollars for a peppercorn sauce isn’t anything egregious by any means, I just expect it to taste like it was worth 6 dollars.

Great atmosphere and amazing food. Best beef ribs I've ever had. The steakhouse burger was awesome, the French onion soup was excellent and the Caesar salad was one of the best I've ever had. Highly recomended.

We ordered the cheese fondue and the peppercorn steak and frites. The fondu was good a little expensive but cheese is expensive. The sourdough bread was quite dry but the rest was pretty good. However, the peppercorn steak tasted off. We couldn’t quite tell it it was the sauce or the meat but we didn’t eat it most of it in the end.

The food was very disappointing. The ceaser salad was so dry. Little to no dressing the cheese has nothing to stick to so was all just sunken to the bottom. I need to ask for more dressing. The crab pasta was also flavourless. Overall all disappointing and wont be going back

Great food, wine and service. Fruit flies were aplenty in the dining area which distracted the evening or it would have been better :-)

Went for breakfast, the food was OK but service was very slow. Over 40 minutes to get breakfast. Didn’t see our server after she gave us our food so had no coffee or water with breakfast. Had to go to the bar and ask three times for our bill
