Bluewater Grill offers fresh seafood and American fare in a historic location overlooking the Newport Beach bay. Whether looking for classically prepared seafood or something specially created by Executive Chef Albert Serrano, diners at Bluewater Grill will find an extensive menu and fresh ingredients to keep them hooked. Guests may even see catches made by the restaurant's Pilikia, a harpoon boat. Walk into the Bluewater Grill and sample shellfish options or a favorite like the Chipotle Blackened Swordfish.     We love coming to Blue Water Grill in Newport. The food is excellent and the service is great! Highly recommend this restaurant for a nice dinner with family. The ambiance is relaxing and nice to get together with family.

    We sat out on the patio tonight and it was very pleasant. They had heaters and blankets and it was very toasty. Really enjoyed seeing the fireworks and the boat parade go by the food was fantastic like always!

    Fresh fish and delicious salad and veggies. Not a lot of heavy sauce on the fish. Server , Maddy, was delightful and attentive. Sat on the patio with my dog and it was a lovely, festive evening. 🎄

    They have lost the concept of allowing for a pleasant experience. Tables outside are slammed together the waiter has too many tables. Forgot bread, bringing my wife a blanket, or asking us after food was “ dropped “ on the table if we needed anything else. Then clearing plates is a thing of the past. Waiter is more into getting paid, taking orders while someone else comes to slam the food on the table. No clearing of plates or other items they just say here you go and we have to move everything around to fit. Also when making the reservation we asked for standard seating “ not bar “ or outside and were still put outside. Better questions on OpenTable would help that out.
