There is absolutely NO reason why 18% gratuity is needed. The service we received is NOT worth 15% let alone 18%. It is literally a scam and future patrons should be aware of this scam. To start, yesterday (9/17/2022 @ 7:30pm), I was a patron with a party of 5 under the name Tay Alston. Brooke, our waitress was ok, very slow and seemed to forget about us (quite a bit). Majority of our 2 hour time was spent waiting for her to come to our table. Almost as if we were stuck in the corner to be forgotten. I actually watched her walk back and forth, and never come to our table after giving us food. I even had to ask people to find her. The first person I asked was the “manager”, she lied and told me that she was handling a big party (as if that means forget your other tables). Yet, as I mentioned before, I watched her walk back and forth to the indoor and outdoor seating tables. At one point, I asked her for a refill of my ginger ale, and literally waited OVER 30 MINUTES for ONE ginger ale. Two other people asked for refills (again another 30 minutes), and one of those people caught her hiding in the corner by the bar as they were coming from the bathroom.
Now, besides the poor service time, my BIGGEST qualm was the “manager”. Abby/Alyssa (the waitress gave me two different names), she was snobby, weird, and VERY disrespectful. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich, that was supposed to come with a tomato and spicy mayo. When she came to tell me the excuse about my waitress she, halfheartedly offered to assist me. This woman disgustingly holds my sandwich to her face (right under her nose) IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC. Then, proceeds to tell me, in the most snobbish way… “oh I see mayo”. As if, I’m mistaken or shouldn’t be requesting more than the pea sized amount of mayo she claimed to see IN THE DARK. I make it my point to continue telling her that’s not how its supposed to be. I have more (on Google) but I have a 2000 word max here!
