   Absolutely unbelievably worst dining experiences of my life. We had four friends in town for the weekend and they asked for a sexy steak place. BLVD was immediately our first idea! I had been there four times prior and was completely confident in our choice. Our party of six was seated in the patio which is far less desirable than inside but we understood inside was at capacity and the second floor was closed. We waited 30 minutes for water to be served and no drink orders were taken until two of us separately complained to the host and then the GM. We were finally assigned a new server and the GM was trying to be as attentive as possible. We ordered the seafood “tower” which is actually a platter served on a lazy Susan. We were told that they had run out of oysters but we were offered extra shrimp instead, which we did not want. We were told that extra crab legs was not an option, even with an up charge. We accepted the ridiculous answer and ordered the platter plus steak tartare and tuna tartare. Our new server told us that they had just replenished the oysters. YAY! The seafood platter arrived with extra crab legs, great! But no oysters and we we wanted oysters. Neither tartare were keyed in nor did they arrive. At this point it was past 11:00 pm so we gave up and ordered several entrees to share. We ordered two large steaks medium rare, tomahawk pork chop and several sides. The steaks both came rare as can be. We sent them back but Instead of bringing new replacements cooked to the proper temperature, they just threw the original meats back on the grill so they came out undesirably cooked. The rest of the meal was okay at best. They comped us the seafood platter and one round of drinks as an apology. The entire meal should have been comped for the astonishingly terrible experience that we had all around. I will never ever go back and I will be sure to share my experience with every that asks about a great steak place in Chicago.

   Went for my husband’s birthday and when I made the reservation. I advised that we were also bringing our 3 year old, not a problem because they have a kids menu, which was a plus that included crayons and activities on the menu. We were seated in the chandelier room which was beautiful. I had eaten there before and was seated the second level, but this time we were seated in the first floor is beautiful and intimate. To commemorate the birthday there was a birthday card signed by the staff which was a nice touch. My husband ordered the Rio Jockey Club and I had the an Old Fashioned which were good. For food we ordered a filet mignon with garlic sauces, salmon, mashed potatoes , Brussel sprouts, and Mac n cheese for the little one. The food was all great, no complaints. The service was hit and miss. The server would leave for extended periods of time as if we needed that much time to decide on what we wanted. The management however was great, TJ came by multiple times to check on us and even offered to box up our food. We ended the meal with a birthday treat for my husband. Our daughter especially enjoyed. Overall good experience just as my first time, will definitely come back for happy hour. Would suggest carrying some apple juice if you are going to offer juices for kids.

   The BLVD burger was amazing! The service was fast, the food came out quick but was hot. The burger melted in my mouth , I still have not stopped thinking about it 😂 everyone was so kind and attentive!! 10/10

   I finally had the opportunity to eat here with my boyfriend for his birthday on Tuesday Night. It's such a beautiful restaurant; it reminds me of "OLD HOLLYWOO". The food was great and the service was everything. Will definitely return.
