Bob’s Steak & Chop House specializes in serving big, flavorful steaks that are hand-selected from the top two percent of USDA prime beef along with Texas-sized portions of our award-winning sides. Our mouth-watering, legendary seafood and cuts of meat are absolutely delicious as we use homemade and local ingredients to enhance the flavor of our signature menu items.

Since 1993 in Dallas, Texas, the name “Bob’s” has been synonymous with a best-in-class steakhouse experience. Over the years, we have built upon the reputation we earned at our original Dallas location by opening restaurants across the nation that proudly offer the best cuts of meat available to guests, no matter where they call home. We are proud to be a part of the local Louisville community and bring the highest quality steak and chops to Kentucky.

We carry an extensive wine selection, hand-picked by our in-house wine buyer, and a full bar stocked with local liquor, beer, and wine.

We’ve been to Bob’s many times, but last night’s experience was disappointing. Our server never introduced herself and simply said, “Drinks?” as if we were an inconvenience. It took about 15 minutes to receive our drinks and place our order, and when she returned, she just said, “Ready?”—again making us feel like a bother. Throughout the meal, we ran out of drinks and water, but our server never checked on us. She only asked how everything was once we had finished eating and then casually asked if we needed another drink. After paying, we spoke with the general manager, who was very understanding. This was not at all in line with our past experiences at Bob’s, but unfortunately, it left a sour impression.

The lamb chops were perfectly seasoned! I love the pickles on the table! The margarita was strong like I like it but a little too sweet.

The service was excellent and the bar was terrific. Great cocktails. The steak was nothing special; ordered medium rare and the filet special came out burned and gray all the way through. They did replace it and I’m grateful, but at $70 for a piece of meat, it ought to not just be right, but special. Pretty good overall and I appreciate the replacement on the obvious overcook, but for what you’re paying, this should be awesome.

Amazing food and service. We ate the filet and lobster and it was the best steak I’ve ever eaten. The truffle butter added lots of flavor as well. The skillet potatoes and carrot only added to the experience. Highly recommend to anyone in the Louisville area.
