Bob’s Steak & Chop House specializes in serving big, flavorful steaks that are hand-selected from the top two percent of USDA prime beef along with Texas-sized portions of our award-winning sides. Our mouth-watering, legendary seafood and cuts of meat are absolutely delicious as we use homemade and local ingredients to enhance the flavor of our signature menu items.

Since 1993 in Dallas, Texas, the name “Bob’s” has been synonymous with a best-in-class steakhouse experience. Over the years, we have built upon the reputation we earned at our original Dallas location by opening restaurants across the nation that proudly offer the best cuts of meat available to guests, no matter where they call home. We are proud to be a part of the local Louisville community and bring the highest quality steak and chops to Kentucky.

We carry an extensive wine selection, hand-picked by our in-house wine buyer, and a full bar stocked with local liquor, beer, and wine.

We had a wonderful time at Bob’s. Our waiter was fantastic; polite, helpful, friendly, and efficient. The atmosphere was great as well. The food was good, but not amazing.

Our waiter, Roy, was awesome! Although it took the food longer than I expected he was constantly checking up on how we were doing, talking with the chefs and letting us know how much longer it would be. The dinner came out and it was perfect! I recommend the prime ribeye if you are in the mood for steak. It melted in my mouth! The asparagus is so tender as well. My sweetheart ordered the lamb and he finished his entire meal lol. I would definitely recommend Bob's for a special occasion. I will definitely be going back myself.

Food and ambiance was excellent! Service was great. We split the blue cheese salad and it was a good portion. Delish! The shrimp appetizer was HUGE! I w also split the 12oz ribeye with potato. They gave us each a carrot. These things will melt in your mouth!

After a rocky start where there was a miscommunication between the host desk and our server, which had us waiting for over 25 minutes for someone to come to our table. It was absolutely amazing. I had the 14oz New York strip steak, carrot, and baked potato. Hands down, this was the best steak I have ever eaten, buttery tender and seasoned perfectly. My husband had the porkchop and skillet potatoes. They were well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Our server was very apologetic about the wait, and the manager even came by several times to check on us. After all was said and done, we will definitely be back.

Bob’s steakhouse is top notch! I am from Chicago and am difficult to impress when it comes to food. My husband and I ordered the Rack of Lamb med rare and NY Strip medium and both were cooked perfectly and tasted absolutely delicious. The wedge salad and creamed spinach were outstanding as well. Our server was very attentive and went above and beyond to make our meal delightful. He made my husband a custom smoked old fashion that would rival some of our favorite spots in Chicago. Lastly the fries…they aren’t traditionally on the menu, however they were offered as a special. They had a “Rallys” meets curly fries from Arby’s in a Chick Fil-A waffle style with an upscale twist. Best fries I’ve had. I highly recommend Bob’s, we will absolutely be back!

We went for our work Christmas dinner and loved the food as always. Our server was very nice and patient with us as we had two ppl that hadn’t been there and answered all their questions and got everything they needed. So happy to see George serving!! I see him every time and he’s always so nice and says hi to me. He’s always in a positive and upbeat mood. Can’t wait to come back again for dinner
