   Food was delicious and fresh! Make a reservation if you are going after after 7pm or it will be full. Drinks were well made and the timing for services was excellent. Will definitely be going back.

   Went to Bocas on Mother’s Day as a way to celebrate. It was our first time going and I made a reservation ahead of time. Once I arrived I was Immediately told I had to wait 10 minutes because my table wasn’t ready. Kind of defects the point of having a reservation in my opinion. I waited and was finally seated, 4 adults and one sleeping child who didn’t even eat, it took around 20 to 25 minutes for our food to be served and not everyone got their plate at the same time. When my plate finally arrived it was cold but I still didn’t complain because I understand it’s a busy day. Beverages (sodas) were served in a can that you-yourself have to pour, not even in Chilis do they do that. No water either. Waitress wasn’t very friendly during the experience. Didn’t bother even addressing me when I was placing my order. When the bill came we were charged for a large party fee. Confused as to how 4 people is a large party, one of our chairs was even taken from us. Also, why isn’t that stated anywhere when you make a reservation. Overall terrible experience. I wouldn’t recommend or go back.

   We arrived seven (7) minutes later than our reservation time, due to accidents, rain, and heavier than normal traffic. We were told that it was really ten (10) minutes late, and that our reservation had expired. Bocas Grill was full and I am sure they did not miss us. Probably our last time for us there; maybe they will miss us in the future. We ate a few doors down at Che Tano, which was very good.

    Microwaved food! 7 of us were dining and not one single person enjoyed their meal. You can tell the food was reheated just by the varying temperatures- some parts were room temperature- some Luke warm- and some spots were cold!! Not to mention the pricing- $22 for a reheated burger in a shopping center with tables that were not even level so our drinks and food moved the entire time. It was so uncomfortable. We couldn’t believe the high price for such a cheap atmosphere and experience. Looking at the reviews makes me question their ethics. The reviews had to have been left by family and friends because there is no way that anyone would give this place 5 stars. we also noticed that the food looked nothing like it was advertised! Their Instagram pics do not match reality. You can see a picture of their microwaved burger attached. No wonder- we had a reservation at 3 and left by 4pm. The food came out in a couple of minutes. We should have left right then and there. Learn from our costly mistake! Go elsewhere. They also added a mandatory 18% service charge most likely because they know people would be so upset by their subpar food and service- it would be hard to leave a decent tip.
