A live­ly restau­rant and music venue serv­ing mod­ern British food, featuring the UK's largest whisky bar, a heated garden ter­race, a cig­ar shop and humidor, over­look­ing the City of London skyline.

The high capacity restaurant is on the second floor of a Gotham City-style Art Deco building overlooking the fountains in Cabot Square, Boisdale of Canary Wharf Restaurant is one of the most majestic premises to have opened in the area.

It bears the distinctive Boisdale design of lacquer red and dark green walls, rich mahogany panelling, and an eclectic collection of classical and modern original artwork. The Whisky bar is one of the most extensive in the world, with over 1000 malt whiskeys and expert bartenders are on hand to guide you through the impressive range, and create hand-crafted unique cocktails suited to your taste.

There is also a ticketed live music show every night except for Mondays, and Jools Holland is Boisdale's Patron of Music.

    There are four private dining rooms available to hire for private functions in our venue. The whole venue can be hired for large parties of up to 250 seated guests for a sit down meal or 500 standing for a drinks and canapes reception.

    We found the reception staff to be a bit cold The atmosphere was okay We were served the wrong dish and drinks. We complained about drink which was replaced served with long and stern face We payed for overpriced mediocre meal and left vowing not to go back to this restaurant again

    We used to enjoy Boisdale’s Jazz Sunday Lunch, and after some time away, we decided to book lunch. The menu has changed, possibly more competitively priced but unfortunately the quality of the food has suffered. The whitebait starter was small and a little dry, the roast pork was sliced, looked synthetic and tasted very bland, the roast potatoes had dense skins and the carrots and cabbage were also bland and looked unappetising. It also wasn’t very hot. We had a selection of cheese for dessert (£6 supplement), again disappointing - the cheeses were too cold and hard, hence tasteless. The jazz band were good but too loud so it hindered any conversation. However, our waitress was very good. The restaurant wasn’t very busy which we found unusual compared to lunches in the past. We were very disappointed overall and would not recommend. We will not return.

    I’d read a few reviews mentioning that the food was not good. That was not my experience, went with a few colleagues, we all had burgers - they were superb, really tasty, good size. We had a great lunch

    A little trouble to find as we’ve not been to the restaurant before. Really lovely ambience and relaxing but luxurious feel about the place. Service was mediocre. Not to a high standard. Girls dresses were too short, not appropriate for the venue. Lack of knowledge and just lacklustre. Food was delicious and our table was at the window, perfect viewing experience. Reasonably priced too. Definitely go back for either lunch or dinner again with friends.
