Proprietor Tommy Jameel, a veteran of established curry houses like Kama Sutra, Ashton Lane's Ashoka as well as running successful family restaurants in west of Scotland The Asmaan Tandoori, The Bollywood Club and the Rajput Tandoori as well as being part of the brilliant management team at the New Turban Tandoori but has ambitious aims for his latest venture Bombay Palace in the heart of Hamilton.

Tommy Jameel has created Bombay Palace around the idea of transporting the cuisine of the sub-continent and today's menus reflect this ongoing exploration, featuring the freshest seafood, poultry, spring lamb plus plenty to please vegetarian palates.

    Excellent food. Great service. The owner bought us all a drink on him, which was a nice touch. Well worth a visit. Definitely be back.

    Booked a table on Opentable for 1pm on Saturday. Travelled through from Glasgow and found that the restaurant was closed. Had to go somewhere else. Poor show from the restaurant and Opentable to allow bookings at a closed restaurant
