Looking over Australia's most famous beach, Bondi Trattoria has been serving locals and tourists alike for over 35 years. The menu is modern Italian, with a mixture of traditional and contemporary dishes including bugs in garlic & chilli butter with mozzarella, and spaghetti with crab and cuttlefish. We aim for a quality dining experience that is relaxed, professional & professional. Soak up the view from inside or on the terrace.

    I chose a local favourite to celebrate my birthday with five friends who are not locals. As expected, the service and food was spectacular. I highly recommend Bondi Trattoria and the view over Bondi Beach. Thank you Alasdair and Team for looking after us!

    We had a great meal served up by friendly and attentive staff. The menu is limited in size but has very good range. Portions are generous so be warned not to over-order. Being able to bring special bottles is excellent. The Tratt deserves its popularity and I hope to visit whenever I come to Sydney.

    Iconic!!! From reserving to entry to welcome to discovery to dining and drinking and payment : all was seamless but with such gracious generosity every step of the way . What a view to the Bondi beach too.

    Had to ask to order food, drinks and had to ask for the bill twice. Food has gone down hill, tasted as if it was frozen and heated up.

    Busy with locals but must have been an off day for the chefs, food sent back as 2cm deep in off smelling butter. Lovely staff, great menu hopefully a one off as recommended by friends, will give it another go soon
