BóRN is the 3rd venue in the Tapavino stable and takes its cue from the tapas bars & restaurants in & around El Born, Barcelona. Located on the waterfront in Barangaroo, We take inspiration from the Spanish classics but with a modern twist.

    food was amazing but the waiter was so rude and impatient that I don’t even want to come back. my experience at balcon by tapavino was amazing that’s why I wanted to try born by tapavino. valentines dinner unfortunately turned into something very stressful and unpleasant for us.

    The waiter seemed overwhelmed by the fact it was Valentines Day. He insisted we must order all our plates at once, and once only, and then the plates came out far too quickly. The reality was, there were plenty of unoccupied tables around us most of the time. He also insisted we ordered two additional plates “because you have a minimum spend of $105 (which we were already aware of, and our ultimate spend was $150 per head anyway). When I ordered an $80 bottle of wine, the waitress tried to embarrass me by saying “we have much better wines on the following pages”. Food good, service much worse this time than we usually get. Maybe there won’t be a next time. Much down hill from where we used to rank it.

    We had a delicious dinner, spicy margaritas and wine at Born by Tapavino on Saturday night! The atmosphere was lively and warm, and the food was just delicious! Highly recommend giving it a try! The drinks selection was impressive and the staff made great recommendations. Overall, a fantastic spot for a memorable evening. We’ll definitely be back!

    very good service nice wine selection. $600 for 6 people, 4 bottles of wine and plenty of food. Beef cheeks and pork neck we stand out dishes.

    A great meal with friends. We shared a few tapas and main dishes and thoroughly enjoyed shared desserts. Our waiter, Michel, ramped our dining experience up several notches!

    The service was fantastic as always, however, we went as a group and our only option was the banquet. We did not feel that it was value for money and the dessert was Pavlova…an authentic Spanish dessert would have been a better offer.
