My partner and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bottarga in Brighton. We booked last minute, and it turned out to be an experience to remember. From the moment we arrived, the cozy, intimate atmosphere made us feel right at home. Although we opted to sit outside since it was a beautiful day, we still had a view through the window of the open kitchen – a special touch that let us watch the chefs in action. The staff were attentive and ensured every detail of our meal was seamless.
The menu, with its unique blend of contemporary Italian and Asian-inspired dishes, was a real treat. We chose the 3-course menu, which offered fantastic value considering the quality and creativity in each dish. Highlights for us were the crab spaghetti and arancini, both perfectly prepared and bursting with flavour.
We went with the sommelier’s wine pairing, which truly elevated each course with thoughtful selections that complemented each dish beautifully.
Overall, Bottarga exceeded our expectations. If you’re after a memorable fine dining experience in Brighton, this spot is a must-try and incredible value.
