My husband and I visited for a Valentine’s Day weekend date night, excited for a special evening. While the ambience had potential—with warm lighting and live music—the overall experience didn’t quite live up to expectations. The cocktails were fantastic, easily the highlight of the night. However, the food left a lot to be desired. I ordered the crab-stuffed lobster tail, which was unfortunately overcooked and had pieces of shell throughout—it was nearly inedible. Our bisque appetizer was just okay, nothing particularly memorable. Dessert had a promising tiramisu-like texture, but the overwhelming amount of nutmeg completely overpowered the dish. The service was a mix of highs and lows. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome. However, our arrival felt awkward—the hostess simply stared at us until I initiated the conversation about our reservation. While I wouldn’t recommend this spot for a romantic dinner, I could see myself coming back with friends for happy hour and live music. The drinks and vibrant atmosphere seem much better suited for a casual night out than an intimate dining experience.

The Valentine’s dinner was $125 per person and with 20% gratuity. The service was great. We opted for the 28oz Porterhouse dry aged steak, med rare. My husband had loaded bake potato and I ordered Brussel sprouts. The steak was overcooked and not tender like dry aged is typically. The baked potato was hard and not cooked all the way. I ordered a French martini and it was great. The service was awesome. We will not go back as the food quality was not there. It is a big splurge for $$400 dinner and drinks for our anniversary and would rather have had a $40 dinner somewhere else.

We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Amy was an AMAZING server...and the piano player was one of the best. We had châteaubriand for two which was cooked to perfection, but we felt the serving size was a little small and not worth the price. We have dined here several times before, and have always had a good dinner! Noise level is a little loud.

I made reservations and it was not explained on the site or when I called that we would have to all be present to be seated. When I arrive at the restaurant 10 minutes earlier than my reservation, the manager said could you give me 10 minutes. 20 minutes, had gone by and he never came back and said anything to me and then another hostess who was seating guest passed by and I asked her about our table. She said I needed to wait for the rest of my party. I was very frustrated with the lack of communication and the blatant disregard. To make matters worse the restaurant was pretty empty. Once we got seated, the waiter was very good. And the food was decent, but the manager avoided my table the entire night and checked in on other guest. I really wasn’t sure why we were treated that way. The hostess did apologize after I explained how frustrated I was but again the manager never came by again and avoided us. It was pretty strange.

We had a great time celebrating my birthday with friends. The food, wine and service were excellent! Emily provided great service and guidance on our food choices. She was attentive at all the right times. My New York strip was cooked perfectly and was one of the best I have had. They surprised the table with a huge piece of chocolate cake to celebrate my birthday. The cake was absolutely delicious.
