   Brasso is a very good restaurant in the Westin in Punta Cana. The portions are huge so plan on sharing! The prices are huge too!

   This restaurant was a great addition to the Westin Punta Cana property in 2024 - we were were excited to come back in 2025 - one of the most delicious and mouth watering Filet Mignons I have ever had - bravo!!!

   Mac & Cheese, Wedge Salad, Mahi Filet, Charred Broccolini, and Kids Steak were our favorites! Excellent service with kind gestures of bringing an extra cherry for when our kids shared a daiquiri.

   The food was overall okay but not worth the price. The service was slow, it took 20 minutes for a drink order and then 30 minutes before he realized we ordered drinks. The filet was cooked as ordered and was good.

   Outstanding food and service! Oscar was lovely. Food was delicious! Expensive menu but at least the food was worth it. Taxes here are a killer, 18%!

   The price/value experience here is atrocious. Specifically, the short rib with mashed potatoes was $38, which in a high end restaurant is entirely normal. However, the portion was quite small (we estimate about 120g of meat once the bone was removed) and the proportion of it that was just fat was about 40%… do that math and you’ll understand. I also had the bone marrow as an appetizer. The portion was fine but it was honestly <10% actual marrow and the rest was just visceral fat. I love bone marrow, and this was terrible. Cocktails are $14-16. None of these prices include the 18% VAT and the 10% service charge (mandatory tip, which is fine). Our meal included: 2x short rib 2x bottled water 1x bone marrow 1x local beer Total price: $163. Absolutely insane for what we received.

    The ambiance was very nice when we were 1st seated, but then the restaurant got crowded at extremely loud. We enjoyed our salads and I liked my mahi mahi. My husband had the Kansas City Strip steak and it was not a very good piece of meat, fat and tendons all through it so chewy & hard to eat. My key line pue was not ket lime pie. It was some of the ingredients under a mass of charred meringue. Our server, Joanne, was very sweet and great, until her section was over sat. Then we had to wait awhile to get her attention. Not her fault, it just got super busy.
