Brasserie la Banque is a neighborhood French restaurant nestled in historic downtown Charleston, SC. Paying homage to traditional French cuisine in a lively and welcoming environment, Brasserie la Banque celebrates life's memorable moments from impromptu drinks to convivial gatherings and leisurely meals. Led by owner and industry veteran Steve Palmer of Indigo Road Hospitality Group, the restaurant is a culmination of Palmer's work and his passion for the classic French brasserie and its cuisine. The menu features a selection of traditional French dishes alongside more innovative fare. Aptly named for its previous role as a city bank, Brasserie la Banque is located within the iconic 1 Broad Street corner building that dates back to the 1700s.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday Brunch at Le Banque. The Eggs Benedict was traditional and well prepared. Our server was friendly and helpful. We will definitely try dinner soon.

Front staff was very welcoming upon arrival. Food & drinks were very good. Do not recommend high top tables, too much foot traffic and very distracting.

Our brunch experience at Brasserie La Banque was absolutely delightful. Celebrating our 1-year anniversary here was a perfect choice. The ambiance was warm and inviting, complemented by a touch of elegance that made our celebration special. Our server, Libby (hope I spelled it right), provided exceptional service. They surprised us with a custom sign on our table acknowledging our anniversary and treated us to a complimentary celebratory drink, which added a personal touch to our experience. The highlight of my meal was the caviar omelette, which was simply divine. The flavors were exquisite, and the dish was a perfect blend of creamy textures and savory goodness. Each bite was a delight. The drinks selection was impressive, offering a variety of options that paired well with our brunch dishes. Libby's recommendations were on point and enhanced our overall dining experience. We highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to enjoy a special occasion or simply indulge in a delicious brunch or other meals . We look forward to returning if we are ever in Charleston again!

Absolutely loved going for restaurant week. The menu had the perfect selection of items to emulate their full menu. The waitress, whose name I didn’t catch, was fun and gave amazing recommendations. I will definitely be back.
