Award-winning Brasserie Provence is a local family-owned and operated restaurant offering casual, upscale dining and traditional French cuisine with a South-of-France flair. A large selection of Provençal and classical French dishes expertly prepared by Chef Patrick Gosden and his staff offer something for everyone at an affordable price. Enjoy Southern French wine by the glass, signature cocktails, French, Belgian and local Kentucky beer, and select bottles of wine from Provence and the Pacific Northwest. Ample seating is available in the brasserie-style bar, the warm and inviting dining room, and the seasonal outdoor patio. Parties of six to twelve can be seated at the generously-sized Chef's Table, parties or meetings of up to 40 are accommodated in the Private Dining Room, and the entire restaurant is available for events of up to 200 people. Free parking is available in our spacious lot. Join us Mon-Fri for Lunch and Mon-Sat for Dinner to experience a taste of Provence!

There are too many out of the norm entree choices. Mussels, squid, Elk, etc. We only had stuffed chicken to order with the exception of $140 Chateaubriand. They also charge for bread. The food was delicious otherwise. I believe the restaurant would have more patrons if the menu had more of the normal meat entrees.

Always the best! Their French Onion soup is the best in the city. The Ruby Trout was spot on and the service impeccable.

Food and atmosphere are very nice. Felt like they were understaffed, and, as a result, it was a significantly lower level of service than one would expect at this level of restaurant.

The vegan black bean cake dinner option coupled with ratatouille and fingerling potatoes was superb. If you're vegan and order the olive appetizer, just ask for them not to butter the toast. Someone at our table ordered the Steak Frites and thoroughly enjoyed it. Food excellent as usual, atmosphere is amazing, and service impeccable.

We almost always have trout, but we decided to try something different: chicken and the little neck clam pasta. Both were excellent.
