This is going to be a very picky review, but that’s only because clearly they’re trying to deliver a very high-end upscale product here. The bones of the space is a beautiful minimalist environment with lovely textured wall, coverings, upholstery and light fixtures, but the details are lacking with fake flowers on the table and fake candles. Also, for some reason, the lights in the restaurant were up full like you might expect at brunch or lunch. My dinner reservation was at 7 o’clock, and I was expecting a dimly lit room. Now for the food, I ordered two courses . the little gems salad. It was very tasty. It was nice nothing special or out of the ordinary totally fine. For my entrée. I ordered the osso bucco . The Osso Buco was delicious, but it was accompanied with a spaghetti, squash, and lentil gremolata . That was good as well, but it was a very strange pairing. It was beautifully presented, but seemed like it would be better suited as a first course rather than an accompaniment. I also found it weird that the accompaniment wasn’t something like a starch typically potatoes or pasta . The Osso Buco has a delicious sauce, but I had to ask the waiter if he could bring me some bread so that I could enjoy . I was given a couple of slices of sourdough sandwich bread. They do have a complementary basket of pimento, cheese, Gougères these are very tasty as well. like I said they were both very good, but it was a weird combination and a disconnect like they were two different meals for two different people. The waiter was very friendly but lacked the finesse that one would expect in a fine dining establishment that is not a complaint. I put that down to lack of proper training of the staff. I guess overall that’s how I would consider my entire experience at the restaurant. It lacked finesse
