Located on St Andrew Square, Bread Street Kitchen is a modern all-day restaurant between Princes Street and Queen Street - the perfect place for a get together with friends, family, colleagues, or even a treat for yourself. Don't miss our classic Gordon Ramsay dishes, from Beef Wellington and traditional fish & chips, to rare-breed steaks and delicious seasonal salads. Shake and stir a selection of cocktails with a hands-on mixology masterclass at Bread Street Kitchen. Imagine having your own signature cocktail to wow friends and family. During the masterclass, you’ll enjoy a house cocktail on arrival followed by learning how to master a classic cocktail then a bespoke cocktail of your own - delicious results assured, no matter the spirit, style or taste preferences! On the way, you’ll pick up a bit of cocktail history and develop your knowledge of the fascinating world of spirits. It’s all complimented with a fabulous platter of snacks to share. Nous sommes arrivés dans un restaurant ou l’ambiance est bruyante. La salle est plutôt agréable, le service aussi. Cependant, le temps d’attente (bœuf weellington)est le double de celui indiqué : 1h30 au lieu de 45 minutes initialement. Les entrées étaient correctes mais très chères pour la quantité (et la qualité). Le fish and chips était très bon et copieux, le poisson était bien cuit mais rien d’exceptionnel sur l’accompagnement et encore une fois très chère pour ce que c’est. Ce qui nous a le plus choqué : 75 livres de services (sans compter le pourboire) - 7livres pour quelques olives - personne nous a prévenu que cela était payant quand on a pris l’apéritif. Le pain aussi était payant. Un peu embêtant au vu de l’addition finale. 4 personnes 462 livres et sans dessert et juste vin au verre. Bref un peu surfait !!! Et rapport qualité prix moyen..

Booked a table, and paid 150 pound deposit, to secure a Christmas lunch for the family while on holiday. Was advised we needed to leave just as we were deciding our dessert selection and next round of drinks. Also requested bread to share with our starters and advised it wasn’t on the menu. Then watched table beside us receive bread. Little things, but at a high price on a special day, was highly impactful.

The food is overpriced, and we've had much better quality steaks for much less. Even the presentation of the plates was disappointing, we expected much more from a Gordon Ramsay restaurant and wouldn't have minded to pay for this, unfortunately it certainly was not worth what we paid for. Won't be visiting again.

Been here for the Beef Wellington. It was really good. Could have been a little bit cheaper, but still worth it on special occasions. The dessert menu is also simple but delicious 😋

My partner and I came for our anniversary and it was a wonderful meal. The food was lovely and our server Charlie was exceptional. We had a wonderful night and meal.

This is the third time I have dined here with friends and sad to say it will be my last. Mr Ramsey really needs to start fixing his own restaurants before fixing other peoples. Local opinion on this restaurant is hit and miss. Our food was over cooked due to being left standing under warming lights too long. Wine list is far too overpriced with very little to accommodate choices under £50 per bottle. Staff were pleasant, and attentive, but the chefs maybe need retrained. In the gents, one toilet door lock busted off and should be fixed. Not what one expects for the price one is paying.
