Bread Street Kitchen & Bar - The City is open in South Place, just minutes from Moorgate, Liverpool Street and Finsbury Circus. Bread Street Kitchen & Bar is an all-day dining restaurant that brings a distinct New York loft feel to central London. It showcases the very best of Gordon's signature dishes; from his world-famous Beef Wellington experience and Himalayan salt dry-aged Rare Breed beef from the wood-fired grill, to a delicious Saturday brunch menu with bottomless cocktails. Renowned for its electric atmosphere, the bar is a destination in its own right. During the masterclass, you’ll enjoy a house cocktail on arrival followed by learning how to master a classic cocktail then a bespoke cocktail of your own - delicious results assured, no matter the spirit, style or taste preferences! On the way, you’ll pick up a bit of cocktail history and develop your knowledge of the fascinating world of spirits. It’s all complimented with a fabulous platter of snacks to share. Duration dependent on number of guests. Please note this is a public class, therefore there may be other attendees joining.

    Dine at the best seats in the house and enjoy the ultimate experience at Bread Street Kitchen & Bar - The City. The Central Table menu includes a cocktail, a three course feast with a choice of starters, followed by our famous Beef Wellington. Upgrade available : BSK Experience Package for an additional £20 p/p, Big Meat Cut to share in addition to your Beef Wellington main course. Please note that you will be charged the full menu price on the day alongside any extras, drinks and a discretionary 15% service charge. In the event that the booking is not honoured in whole or in part or is cancelled with less than 7 days notice, a cancellation fee of the Table Experience menu price pp will be charged to the card provided.

    Service was incredibly slow. Probably due to there being lots of Christmas gatherings. In fairness they discounted our bill without us complaining which was a nice touch but having to wait 30 minutes after being seated before anyone asked if we wanted a drink let alone took our order is poor given the prices. The food was average and really not in line with the prices. Despite the discount which we were grateful for we are highly unlikely to ever return

    Staff and service was great , lovely people and the lighting and cocktails are very good . But sitting on a table that’s wobbling all night isn’t enjoyable . Also sitting so close to the table behind where the waiters are squeezing through all eve is annoying . The chicken wings far too much sweet sticky sauce, almost overpowering . Really messy on the fingers . The finger wipes didn’t go far enough to clean my hands . Main meal was good .

    Overall experience was good. Having had lunch at a table, we moved to the bar. This experience was poor with bar staff questioning the ongoing tab from the table. We were made to feel like we were trying a fast one. I did raise this with the staff as constructive feedback back Benedetta was amazing and turned a poor experience to a good one.

    The food was absolutely brilliant, fantastically cooked. The service was excellent and regularly checked with us to see if we wanted more drinks.

    Service was slow. It l took a while for our food and drink order to be taken. We were hoping to have a main course and desert but from the time we arrived 1.15 to the time we had finished our mains, it was 2.18 and had be to back at work for 2.30 so no time for desert. I appreciate food was cooked to order and it was delicious.

    Took a few minutes to get checked in, but after that the service was good and the food tasty. A change in the menu would be good though, nothing bad it just needs a refresh for repeat diners.

    The wine pairing for the beef Wellington was awful, 65£ for a twist cap wine? The tomato salad unremarkable Beef Wellington was the only standout dish unfortunately
