    Travelers often get swept up in the charm of a new locale, sometimes inflating ratings in the glow of a great vacation, but Bridgette Bar proved to be an exception. The ambiance was perfect for a cozy lunch or dinner, and the food is among the best in the area. Everything we ordered was excellent.

    The food is fantastic, the drinks are top drawer. Great atmosphere and fine service. A little pricy but if you want to save money, hit the happy hour. I has the lamb Sausage with a fried egg, and a BumBu Rum and diet. It was perfect.

    This was an unfortunate experience. The food was amazing! Service was lacking. As an experienced server, I watched as our server failed to adhere to correct steps of service. We sat for 16 minutes before being greeted and given water. We watched as she greeted a table of friends right next to us immediately. I saw many tables of hers around us very unhappy. It was also unusual and unprofessional to have been seated, and the tables we were given were split apart at the time of us sitting down right in front of us, rather than beforehand to remain professional. No thank you or come again on the way out. Unfortunate that this was my first experience of Bridgette Bar.

    Our first time and likely won’t return. The service was the highlight..and the atmosphere. The food was fine, but we like many other places in Canmore a lot more. The strip was VERY chewy to the point we were spitting bites into napkins. The flavor was good though. The pastas were fine but not super memorable. All in all, it’s fine, but for the money, we will go elsewhere. So many great options in Canmore.

    The experience had its ups and downs—the food could have been better prepared, as it felt like something you could easily make at home. However, places like this are great for offering inexpensive, home-style meals, and there’s potential for improvement in overall quality. The atmosphere was lovely and added a nice touch to the visit.

    Delicious! Amazing moreish fondue and look at the size of that banana pie. Thr whole experience was unreal. All with the view of the Rockies. We will be back.
