   Celebrating 40 years TODAY of marriage! Bristol was aware & absolutely no acknowledgement! Have been coming to Bristol for over 40 years & have seen lots of changes! Sat at a window table and was treated to watching a very peaceful protest on Bardstown Rd (BTW-no complaints) Started w green chili wontons- dry good & house salad-also good. I had the pork dijonnaise with skillet potatoes. Pork was very good, potatoes were flavored good, but not the fresh cut potatoes that you would expect. Hubs had the linguine Giovanni. The sausage was delicious and the sauce was good. The linguine tasted overcooked & was somewhat mushy. Server didn’t even mention dessert or offer a dessert menu so we decided to get dessert elsewhere

   I love the Bristol and have been a big fan for years. Unfortunately, I think their brunch menu is a bit tired and for $30 a head, it could use some more imagination. It has always been a favorite place to bring out of town clients and family.

   Very disappointed. Had reservations at 10am for Sunday brunch. Food was not ready or acceptable until @1030. We found an employee and asked if we could go to the Buffett. SHe said it was not ready yet. This used to be our favorite place for brunch went to the Hurstbourne Lane location last fall and it was perfect. Would not recommend going to the Highlands location.

   Food was great especially the fried chicken and Thai Stir Fry. The service was attentive. Restaurant was too noisy and hard to hear

   Went for Valentine’s Day 2025, and they have really stepped up their game. My husband and I go after work quite often, and the last year or two it had seemed like it really went down hill. Last night was the best experience we’ve had at Bristol in quite some time. The staff was dressed nicely w suspenders and for the “Casablanca” theme- but honestly it wasn’t over done or too much and we thought it was a really nice touch. Maybe they should always dress this nice! The food was great and the music was perfect. Staff was on point as well. It was a total turnaround from previous visits and I hope they can keep it going!

   The Bristol was at one time, just a short while ago, one of the best places to go and have a great meal and surroundings .Now sorry to say it is just like all the other places to eat. Not too special any more. Food was just OK, service was just OK value was just OK

   My wife and I came here for Valentine's Day / our Anniversary. They advertised a special Casablanca themed evening, which was enjoyable, but their guitarist was honestly just really distracting. The service was really good. Our waitress was very conscious of keeping our beverages filled the whole time and communicating with the kitchen about my wife's food allergies. As for the food, the meatball appetizers were really good. They have a nice zing that you usually don't expect, but we really liked it. Unfortunately, it seemed the kitchen must have just been too overwhelmed, because they came out after our entree. We both ordered the special, a steak with green beans and a potato that seemed to be mashed then piped back into the skin and baked. The steak was okay, but honestly not anything special. We both ordered them medium rare, so I expected it to be a bit more tender than it was. It was somewhat fatty, and it came smothered in a jus and was paired with a horseradish sauce and a side of parsley at the table. All the strong flavors were definitely there to make up for an otherwise bland steak. The green beans were good. The potato on the other hand was fairly hard, like it was sitting around a while. We did order a dessert; the Bourbon Pecan Tourte. It was pretty good, we really enjoyed it. Overall, it was a fun themed experience, but it left me a bit unimpressed. I think there are better quality restaurants in the area. My wife was happy though, so I guess that's what really matters!

    Casablanca Valentines night was great! Not over done. Very tasteful! Enjoyable atmosphere, light, live acoustic guitar and an excellent server!
