    We had a nice table in the mezzanine, which we really enjoyed. We were meeting with friends who really needed to unwind from some things going on in their life. Our waiter / bartender gave us great service with time when we needed it and attention when we needed it. The food and drinks were very good. The brioche bun dessert is fantastic - highly recommend.

    I’ve eaten at British Bankets numerous times over the years, and always have loved it. The food this time wasn’t seasoned and undercooked. Our servers were horrible as well. Won’t be back.

    Even though we’re locals, BBC was never on our dining radar. We needed a last minute Friday night reservation and BBC had openings. Food, drinks and ambience was great. Service was wonderful by Ethan. The dining room decor was beautiful and noise level just right to feel you’re dining out but didn’t have to yell across the table. We’ll definitely go back.

    Our server was amazing - I can’t believe I don’t remember her name. She was warm, just the right level of attentive, and timed our dishes perfectly. Our food was very good. Prices were steep even for the area but that wasn’t wholly unexpected. Only complaint is the way they have the tables placed - I had someone kicking or noticeably bumping my chair every 5 mins (for some reason the area between our table and the one next to us was treated like a thoroughfare by both staff and diners alike). That really detracted from the ambiance of a place that charges $30 for fish and chips.

    Very slow S Service staff nice but slow There were not a lot of people in there to have us wait as long as we did for drinks and water and refills

    Had dinner New Years Eve. The special menu was excellent lobster crepe and prime rib. Service attentive without being overbearing.

    The ambience and service is good and quick. The servers were helpful. Food and drinks were ok. The mocktails that we ordered were not too great. One of them had overpowering pineapple juice taste and the other ginger beer taste and lot of ice. Could not taste the other ingredients mentioned in the menu. The quantity of the appetisers is not much for the cost. The calamari was not crispy enough and chewy. Mains - ordered the spicy scallops curry, seafood pasta and lobster roll. The quantity of mains is good. Taste was ok, not extraordinary. For dessert ordered the sticky date pudding which was ok. Overall, it is alright and don’t think it is worth the price.

    A very enjoyable Christmas lunch. Seeing you have British in your name, you could offer a more British option too. How to improve for next year - turkey as an option, real Christmas pudding, crackers. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the fixed price menu.
