Service was excellent from the moment we arrived. We had the Sunday roast £25 offer which was good value for money and very tasty. The jazz singer was lovely too. The only thing is it gets incredibly noisy because of the high ceilings and industrial design. Would recommend though because of service and food.

Very nice place and service. Food and wine very good, the rib wasn’t as good as the other plates. Was fault of the meat not of the chef I guess. Wonderful night!!

We went for a soft launch, service was a bit hit and miss, but due to soft launch this can be forgiven. Staff were always friendly. We had four small plates, cornribs, grilled octopus, biscuits and bacon and chicken liver mille fielle. The octopus and chicken liver were good. The biscuits were outstanding. The only let down were the cornribs, which were a little limp. The mains, grilled prawns and Cornish sole were both very good. Portions are generous, especially the prawns. My only criticism being the level of spice on the prawns, there was simply too much and dialing this down would make the dish a five out of five rather than a four. We shared Brix' take on an apple pie, which was tasty and fun. All in a good meal and decent value.

It was a Tuesday, but very quiet and lacking atmosphere. Service was very friendly but patchy; they need some serious training. The food was good and plentiful and good value. Cocktails and wine were good.

So glad we decided to stop here for lunch. We had an amazing Sunday roast and we all agreed that it was one of the best roasts we'd ever had! Our waitress, Molly, was really helpful and welcoming too. We'd definitely recommend and will definitely return. Thank you!
