Brix prefers to host experiences focused on the entire group. Please note, separate reservations made with the intent to create larger parties cannot be accommodated.

                                                                                      Potstickers were a perfect beginning. Mushroom Risotto was lovely. Lemon Cheesecake beautifully presented and delicious! Views over the vineyards were relaxing and beautiful.

                                                                                      Was excited to be at Brix on a Monday nite before wife left town in the am. Hostess, manager, & bartender (our eventual server,) were all welcoming, professional & enthusiastic about our visit. We chose to cork a bottle at the bar and share dishes there. The MNF game was on tv, and that was kind of cool. Started with the Caviar/Dungeness deviled eggs (five stars,) followed by the tempura green beans, (another five.). Couldn’t leave w/o trying the Friend chicken though. Perfectly seasoned and rivaling Ad Hoc on the dish itself adding mashed potato & green beans (this time steamed or roasted.) 10/10

                                                                                      We waited a long time to be greeted and then also to be served, even though the restaurant was almost empty. At one point, we thought we were forgotten entirely. The restaurant also told us they didn’t have lemons that day so added lime to my friends water instead which she said tasted a little weird. The food was good.

                                                                                      We had dinner to celebrate our anniversary on a Sunday evening with another couple. My husband indicated in the reservation that this was for our anniversary. When we arrived, the hostess asked if we were celebrating anything special. We explained it was our anniversary and she opened the drawer of her hostess stand where there were various piles of pre-printed "Congratulations" notes. Birthday, Anniversary, etc... She handed us a card. Way to think ahead. Next time have it waiting at the table. The restaurant was empty so it's not like they didn't have the time. When we were seated, the server asked if we (just my husband and I) wanted champagne to celebrate. We declined. How about greeting the table with FOUR glasses of champagne to include our guests???? Without having to ask??? The final straw was when they brought my prime rib, it was COLD. Not just warm, it was as if they just took it out of the refrigerator. My husband ordered the chicken, which was delicious, but his mashed potatoes were COLD. The server took back my prime rib and my husbands potatoes and came back 15 minutes later. Everyone was practically done with their meal and while my prime rib was hot, it was terribly underseasoned and not worth the wait quite frankly. Very disappointing and will not go back.

                                                                                      Our food was delicious - shared beef tartare, Cobb salad. Sat outside on Patio (which was enclosed because it’s December). The view on the patio is a feature of Brix so another time of year would allow us to realize this benefit. Attentive service, highly recommend.
